The Breeding of Designer Cats and Cats With Genetic Disorders

Recently the US country Iowa prohibits keeping a bengal cat. This prohibition includes all cats with wild ancestors which means hybrid cats / domestic cats. These cats are Bengal, Chausie, Savannah and Safaris for example.

The Faciers Cat Association (CFA) refused to register domestic cats with "wild blood" in it. The fourth generation Bengal cat has around 12% of the Asian leopards in it. CFA is the most conservative registry. The international cat registry is bolder and the registers are more breed including Bengal. There is an opinion divided on wild / domestic cat hybrids. Problem / moral argument

The moral problem is whether it's good for wildlife to make designers and exotic cats breed by estimating wild and domestic cats. The idea is that in keeping hybrid cats like guards remember the fate of reduced wild cats in the world.

The counter argument is that the form of this nursery damages wild cats in terms of interest in interest is fed by breeding programs that encourage malpractice by importers of wild cats to the west and increase imported wild cat breed imports to Western countries. The biggest market for pets and exotic cats so far is the US.

Genetic mutation

There are not only questions about the exotic cats of the same moral dilemma in relation to breeding cats that suffer from genetic defects (mutations). These cats are like a dwarf cat, tailless cats and cats with disabled ears and rarely occur.
