Since pregnant women urinate often, you can see why the whole infection becomes bothersome.
An infection will totally reveal itself on the second trimester.
Another signature symptom of yeast infection in pregnancy is a discharge which will look like cottage cheese. It it very thick and does not have a foul odor. At this point, some mothers start panicking seriously especially if they have never heard of such an infection. The best thing to do when you realize that you have similar condition is to consult a doctor.
Some women who have some experience in this issue, will confidently self medicate until they are cured of their condition. When you are green to pregnancy, anything is possible so it is better for you to visit a clinic.At the hospital, your doctor will rule out other infections like STDs and bacterial infections. If you have yeast infection in pregnancy, the health provider will provide advise on the cure and caution you against certain drugs especially oral ones.
